The village of Bernis dates back to the Roman « Villa Bernice » on the Via Domitia. It is mentioned as early as 925 in the cartulary of Notre-Dame de Nîmes and today has about 3,500 inhabitants.
From Le Moulin Bérénice: Le Moulin is 200 m from the village centre.
